Debra Henke

Asking for help is hard and it can be even harder to ask for help in a vulnerable situation. Debra’s goal is to stand alongside you in your journey of growth and healing. She provides a person-centered approach when working with clients, however also draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and uses techniques from other cognitively oriented modalities to supplement her practice. Debra is becoming trained in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) for the treatment of complex trauma, as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Additionally, she has a collaborative approach and meets clients where they are.   

Debra is passionate about working with older adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, difficulties with relationships, coping with stress, and traumatic experiences. She has a specialized interest in working with adopted individuals. She is LGBTQIA+ friendly.
